Corn Fritters



Material needed :

  • 1 x 310 g can whole kernel corn
  • 2 eggs
  • A pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • I teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese
  • 25 g butter
  • 2 tablespoons oil


Procedure :

  1. Drain the corn and discard the liquid
  2. Put eggs, salt and pepper in a bowl, beat well
  3. And flour and baking powder
  4. whisk until smooth
  5. Add drained corn and grated cheese. Stir well.
  6. Put butter and oil in a flying pan.
  7. Heat until bubbly
  8. Drop spoonful of the mixture in the frying pan.
  9. When golden turn over and cook the other side.
  10. Drain and lay on absorbent paper.
